I just wanted to complain, I have had a terrible tooth ache for like 2 weeks now. I dont know if I have a cavity or if I need a root canal or what but it hurts.
It keeps me up for hours and orajel is starting to not work, so the Pharmacist recommended Tylonel. I will try this for a few days but how much should I take? I got the 500mg, and it takes 2 to take the pain away. Is this ok for my baby or should I just deal with the throbbing pain? I by no means want to do anything to hurt my baby so just curious if you guys knew how much is to much and how many times a day can I take it.

I had HORRIBLE horrible headaches in my 1st trimester... and i took 2 tylonel every 4 hours.. my docter said it was ok because it doesnt pass through the placenta.... dont do OTHER pain killers tho.. because im not sure if u can take those or not. SOME painkillers DO pass thru the placenta and will harm your baby.

My pharmacist was the one who told me about the tylenol. I took it for like 2 days straight. Do you know if it matters if you buy the equate (same as the tylenol right) thats what I got. But I havent had the pain like I did that day, Man I felt like I could cut my mouth open and pull the tooth out root and all. I could sleep I couldnt eat or drink. Man is sucked terribly. Alright enough to chew stuff now but just on one side. After I have the baby I need to go have it pulled or fixed whatever they can do.
