Ok, my fiance really wants me to write this post and I'm curious as well. Have y'all felt pressure while having sex? Like it doesn't necessarily hurt but it feels like my bladder is about to explode, and like there's not enough room for him in there. Is this b/c everything's being rearranged? Also, it just doesn't feel as good and my climaxes aren't as intense. I only have my fiance here and my friend's have never been pg, anyways they live in another city, so this board is my only outlet.

Yes I feel the same thing and sometomes it just flat out not comfortable to have sex. And my sex drive is down atm im 26weeks preg but in the first it was nice. So it changes as your body does some girls have a higher sex drive and some have a lower one

kristy,
before my m/c, i felt the same pressure on my bladder, but it actually helped me climax better and faster. i was actually the one after him all the time cause my sex drive had skyrocketed. i think it might have been the happiest time of his life!!

The pressure is normal, I too felt pressure with my first as well as with my currant one. It's just your uterus pressing against your bladder, but it won't explode. If it's to uncomfortable you might want to try a different position. It is also recommended that after 4 months the woman shouldn not lay on her back during sex because the weight of your uterus put alot of pressure on your blood vessels.

Like vane20, I think sex is so much better while your pregnant. I did however, find that towards the end of my pregnancy I didn't find sex as enjoyable. But I think it was more that I was miserable the way it was.

We've been trying new positions lately b/c the "old faithfuls" just aren't cutting it. I didn't know that a woman wasn't supposed to lie on her back after the 4th mth. Good to know though. It's still ok to sleep on your back though, right? I'm trying to continue that as long as I safely can. Thanks guys

They recommend sleeping on your side again because of the weight of your uterus putting pressure on the blood vessels. I've heard that the left side is suppose to be better. However becuase of my hips I sleep on both sides. I figure my son turned out okay so I can do it with this one as well. Sleeping with a pillow between you knees usually will help with any aches and pains in your hips, but it will also help in keeping you on you side. I also sleep with a pillow at the curve in my back.

Kristy: i also feel pressure and i didn't know what was causing it! I just figured it was because i was getting bigger! I can't remember feeling it with my son though. I also find that my sex drive is getting bigger!! I also think climaxes are stronger and faster! Doggy style is a big no now because that is when i feel the strongest pressure!
