A friend of mine is making a birth video for me, with a collection of pictures from my pregnancy, the pic/video of the birth, and the first month or so of baby pictures. He wants me to pick out a song to play in the background for it, and I've picked out a few that I really like - but I'm not sure which I should use. Anyone have any other suggestions of songs that would work well as far as lyrics go?

The ones I have so far are:
"When I See You Smile" by Bad English
"I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden
"You're Gonna Be" by Reba

I wish I was having a little girl so that I could use the song "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride - because that's a really pretty one. ↓

those are cute songs youve picked out.. im having a little boy too and my finace and i looove the song by rodney atkins called ive been watching you. its the cutest song about a little boy and his father. idk how great id be for a video but i think you'd like it just to listen too (: ↑

theres this old country song, something about a father's love. and it would be fitting considering the 'father' situation with your son. but it kinda gets on the religious side towards the end ↑

thank god for kids by the Oakridge boys
theres one by Clint Black too thats awesome but i can't remember the name of it for the life of me. i know its on his greatest his cd. ↑

I love that song "I've Been Watching You" Mommy2be... but you're right about it not really being for a birth video.

Spanky - I think you mean "A Love Without End, Amen" by George Straight... it goes:

"Let me tell you a secret about a father's love,
A secret that my daddy said was just between us."
He said, "Daddies don't just love their children every now and then. It's a love without end, amen, it's a love without end, amen"

That ones beautiful one too - but since the song is sort of from me to baby - it doesn't really fit either.

The Oakridge Boys and the Clint Black I'll have to look up. I'm not sure what songs those are. ↑
