It is normal to have some spotting the first couple of weeks. What color was the blood (brown, pink, bright red??) Also, did you have sex last night or this morning? That can cause cramping and spotting.

WE cannot tell you wether or not you are losing your baby, all I can say is with my personal experience bright red blood is not a good sign specially along with severe cramps..... You need to call now

Hmmm, I just responded again but it didn't show up....Anyway, I agree with Logan, you need to call the doctor. Go put on a pad - they will ask you how much you are bleeding, and it's easier to monitor the amount when wearing a pad. Please let us know how it goes.

Yes, you definitely need to call your doctor. They will most probably have you come in right away so that they can check you out and make sure everything is okay. I had the same thing happen to me and it turned out to be implantation bleeding but you never know, and like Logan said, it's best to call your doctor if the blood is bright red and you have cramps as well.

Good thing is Thursday so if need be they can get you in the office ASAP. Specially if your blood still red and still cramping...
Are you cramping now??

it is prob jsut implanting bleeding and cramps are very common early on, but as everyone else has said you need to call you dr. He may jsut have you lay down and rest or he may have you come right in. let us know how things go. Good luck

You are correct MizzBrandiss.. I have done a lot of research on implantation bleeding. this website called baby hopes has info on implantation bleeding for those wanting to find out more... here is a little info I copied and pasted.....

When does implantation bleeding usually occur?
It can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation.

Alone I am shocked they didnt send you for an ultrasound right there. That is pretty crappy from them, when I had my spotting I went to the doctor he did a vaginal exam and sent me right away for an ultrasound. Just cannot believe they would send you home!!!! OMG
