well see i might be full term because my due date was an estimate because I was having problems with my period before I got pregnant... He thinks i'm ahead of what they predicted

they didnt do an US to confirm earlyon? i was measuring 4 weeks ahead at the end.. they ended up changing my due date to later.. which made no damn sense.

At my 36 wk appt I was 2 cm, 70% effaced and baby was at 0 station, and I ended up having to be induced at 40 wks. At my 38 wk appt, my doc told me that my baby was around 7 lbs, so with avg. growth of 1/2 lb a week, she should have been 8 when she was born, and she was 6lbs 9oz.

So...you can walk around effaced and with the baby dropped for weeks, and weight estimates can be way off! (I'm thankful my doc was wrong!!!!)

Well as of Tuesday I was 2.5cm dialated and 80% effaced, my 1st due date was Tuesday, the second one is Sunday and still nothing.

on monday they told me that Tyler wa 6pounds 5 oz and then i asked how accurate that was, and they said a pound up or pound down, but then they said your guy still has 3 1/2 weeks to grow, so he might be 7 or 7 1/2 pounds

effacment matters more than dilation, the more effaced you are the closer 80% is great, you could hang out the for a while but at 2.5cm i doubt it, this will help in labor to less cervix to thin out

Zoey they told me they don't check until 39 weeks. I thought they started at like 36 or 37 weeks. The only reason I got checked at 38 was because the nurse had me sitting there in the paper gown and the doc said she might as well.

lol i was hoping at my dr appt yesterday that they were gonna check... but nope, i expected them to start checking all the time now, but i think your right about me being 39 weeks before they start to check :(

If you ask them to, I bet they will check you.
