Woo hoo!
Except now I've got to get my house cleaned, my laundry done, my car cleaned, and finish up the baby's room and any shopping in the next 1-2 weeks before baby gets here, yikes!

two of my dogs love the dirt. they just lay in it for hours. which is better than the other dog (my husband's dog) who rolls in dog crap.

My baby is due April 29th (or 24th by the ultrasound, which I'm hoping is more accurate)

Zoey that was funny what you said about the Dreft, I keep calling my mom up and asking about things I need to wash in Dreft.

Name: zoey9810 | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 9:00 PM
lol i meant WASH** lol but you still got what i meant!!!

ive only washed his bassinet in dreft, i need to go buy some, i got a sample of it so i decided to test it, but tide has a baby soap, that smells better than dreft, and it gets stains out better!

I've been told All baby is cheaper...I didn't know tide made a baby soap!
I've also been told that it doesn't necessarily have to be baby soap, just something free of dyes and scents

lol maybe it was ALL lol ima dork!! lol i just know it is one of those brands lol

dreft has a scent

Name: Marti | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 9:36 PM
The dreft box says to wash anything that comes in contact with baby in dreft. I just don't like the smell and would prefer to use something else..

i didnt even think dreft had a smell LOL

Name: Marti | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 9:43 PM
Well it smells to me ;)

Name: Angelcecilia2 | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 9:58 PM
it does have kind of a weird smell -- but I think that might be it's natural scent -- it's supposed to be free of added scents

Name: jillw | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 10:00 PM
I think it stinks too LOL

Name: breemichelle | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 10:01 PM
I think it has a weird smell when you pour it in the washer, but so far none of the clothes or blankets smell like it afterwards, when I did the first load with it I was thinking I was going to have to find a different kind because I did not like the smell so I'm glad the smell doesn't seem to stay with the clothes.

WELL IM SICK AND MY NOSE IS STUFFY, SO I CANT SMELL THE DREFT,

Name: zoey9810 | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 10:59 PM
oops sorry about the caps lol

Name: zoey9810 | Date: Apr 13th, 2007 10:59 PM
ohh and its practically impossible to wash EVERY thing that the baby come in contact with!

Name: Double_K | Date: Apr 14th, 2007 1:20 PM
Thats one thing I never did--buy special baby soap. I use the same old "Gain" that I use for everyone else. Of coarse if he was having a problem with it, like rashes or something I would change....but he has been finnneeee. :)

lol yall have me smelling detergent at 11am, i feel like a damn huffer lol ..

Name: Marti | Date: Apr 14th, 2007 3:26 PM
Coartney! You huffer!! I got like three boxes of Dreft at baby showers. I really hate that initial smell but free is free. But once those are gone, I'll go back to something regular and hopefully it'll be fine for the baby. if not, I'll deal with stinky dreft.

Name: Coartney | Date: Apr 14th, 2007 3:27 PM
lol how big of ones did you get, lol on base they only sell the normal size, then here in the states u can get huge ones for like 20$ lol im all about bigger quantities, means less trips and with the amount of wash im sure ill be doing. and i tend to add a little of normal stuff in with it b.c i know dreft isnt all that great getting stuff out, so i mix it a little but not much

Name: Marti | Date: Apr 14th, 2007 6:56 PM
I think I got the size that runs about $15 at the store. I'm in Oregon so I don't know if there's much a price diff between where I am and you are.

Name: Coartney | Date: Apr 14th, 2007 6:58 PM
