I Personally think Similac Advance Is the Best!

I used Esbilac w/ Iron with Kenzi---basically because I was on WIC and that is what I could get. But I think its a really good formula. We make too much money for WIC this time around, I was planning on using that again---UNLESS someone else has some good facts on the subject------- :)

p.s.--- I will be attempting to breastfeed also with this one. Its just with Kenzi I was only able to for like 2 weeks---I got sooo sore and my nipples were cracking and bleeding--it was bad. But I was younger and impatient---I hope I can breastfeed longer with this one!

I am trying to breastfeed my baby, but my nipples have cracked and bleed not to mention are quite sore. I tried to pump, but I don't have even 1 oz yet..i'm hoping to get more milk comming in. As for formula i'm using Enfamil A + instant ready to feed formula. She seems to like it and well it gives her what I can't. I just find she has alot of gas and harsh crying spells, but that could all be from the pains of gas.

Hi,Christina there is an all natural store that sells lotion that you can put on your breast to stop the bleeding and cracking. Also they sell special teas for pregnant women and women who have just had a baby who are breastfeeding that will Increase your milk supply,It's called:More Milk Tea.I know it sounds strange but it really works. And it's all natural so it's very healing for your body. The web address is:www.earthmamaangelbaby.com. I hope that was some help to you! If you do decide to buy some, would you please let me know if it worked or not. Hang in there. Also the more you breastfeed the better it feels, you just have toTough it Out.Hang in there.LOL

Hey Sweet Tart ~ thanks, I might have to try that tea. I don't mind bottle feeding whatsoever though. But breastfeeding would be nice.

I'm a big fan of Similac Advance the premade formula.
I got the powder and the premade and made a bottle of each to try it, and the premade was much thicker then the make yourself bottle, and my Emma eats like every 2 hours rather than 4. If I mixed it myself I think I would be feeding 24 hrs of the day!!!!

I used emfamil lipil with iron with both of mine and they did well on it.
