I have been reading about the mucus plug but it doesn't really state what it looks like or anything. I just know that must people don't lose it until they go into labor. Help please?

It is different for everyone, so you may find contradicting data but it is simply that a mucus plug- a small ball of mucus or it can come out like a constant dripping of thick mucus-think snot. Hope that helps

you dont necessarly lose it before the baby comes out. it comes little by little. im way too early to be losing mine, im 6 months, but i have little by little coming out. it looks like snot, youll notice it when you see it, trust me, i heard that it it regenerates itself though. so im not scared that anything is wrong with me or that my baby is going to come any sooner than supossed. have you started to see a difference in your vaginal discharge though? is that why your asking?

The Mucus plug clogs the womb, and it keeps the fluid in.. Technically.. That's supposed to be the purpose. When this plug pops, water comes triggering down like you're going to the bathroom on yourself..
