I am thinking of starting a fitness class for moms. I am too poor to buy a franchise from either of the two exsisting companys that do this, but I am a certified fitness professional. It would be an hour and fifteen mintue class. We would be mainly outdoors unless it was horribel weather and would walk hard for 45 mintues with babies in strollers. Than we would do half our of toning and stretching using resitance bands and even the babies help in our exercising (such as holding baby while doing squats) That way moms get out, get frech air, meet friends, bond with baby in a new way and get fit. I really want to try it out, but I am trying to figure out how much I would charge. The big major companies that do this charge $50 a month. It is expensive (to me at least) to maintain my certification so I need to make some money doing it. Would you be willing to pay $35 a month for a class like that? Does it sound too expensive or too cheap? I just don't want to feel liek I am cheating myself or anyone else. Thanks!

I personally think that $35 a month is a good deal, when u break that down its only $7 a week, which is nothing really for getting ur figure back! lol. Ur classes sound really fun and with the bonus of being cheap i think that ull attract alot of ppl, i say go for it then u'll b able to get feedback from ur customers on how its all going

I agree $35 a month is pretty cheap. You don't want to go to much higher if you want this to work since the other companies that are doing the same thing are charging $50 a month. I say go for it. Where I live they charge $58 a month for the same type of program which with my first I was really interested in because 1) it allowed me to excercise and still be with my baby and 2) being a SAHM it would allow me to interact with other adults who have children around my son age. I never did do it because financially I wasn't about to afford it.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I am really excited to do this. I'll do some more research and training, but I think it might work. At least I'll learn a little more about business right? Thanks a bunch!
