October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Everyone is invited to light a candle on October 15th at 7:00pm in ALL time zones, ALL over the world.

If everone lights a candle at 7:00pm, and keeps it burning for at least an hour, there will be a continuous wave of light over the entire world on October 15th.

Please light a candle to remember those precious lives that have been lost. Even if you haven't personally lost a child or a pregnancy, chances are you know someone who has. I will be lighting my candles.

You can get more info on this day at:

Hannah, you are always so thoughtful. My husband and I just paid a visit to the website. Made me well up, we're going to light a candle here and at the same time, we're going to put up the baby cross next to his tree. Thank you for thinking of all us. God Bles

No problem. I really do feel for you ladies, even though I've personally never experienced what you all are going through. I just know how it effects you cause I had to watch my mom go through it and a couple of my friends have recently lost their babys :0( I didn't even know that this day existed until yesterday but I think it is an awesome cause because even if some people don't consider a pregnancy a life, I do, and I think that every life needs to be remembered.

Thank you so much for posting this. We have lost 3 little ones in the past 13 months, and it is nice to set time aside especially to remember them.

Although a few months ago our sorrow was turned around and we were lucky enough to be able to finally have a child through adoption. And he is more than we could have ever asked for! But we still have a little sadness in our hearts for the ones we lost.

It is weird before I even got home and read about this I had already bought a new candle at the store and the scent is called angel kisses...how very appropriate.
