| I would suggest getting off the birth controlfor a while before trying to get preg. Although I got preg. while on the pill I'm sure its not the best situation for a growing embryo if you already know tht you may have a hard time getting preg. Also, i would start taking prenatal vitamins even before you try to help get your body ready for being preg. I don't like the birth control pill cause all of those synthetic hormone adjusters mess with your system and who really knows what the long term affects are. Those are just my thoughts ↑ |

| My advice would be to discuss it with your doctor. He would be able to tell you the safest way to conceive and when to try etc. BTW - are you married? Have you already discussed this with your partner? ↑ |

| I think if you are planning to get pregnant it's always a good idea to let your ob/gyn know. They can do tests and give you advice on any obstacles you may be facing. Ask your partner to go with you and then you two can have a discussion about when to start trying and how to handle the expectation. There are a good number of women on this board who are TTC and it can be a very emotional time. Good luck to you. I get pregnant just thinking about sex lol! ↑ |
