| Connie, I am jealous, you get a whole year that is so freeking nice, they should have that law here in the STates. AFter that yr do you have to return to work for a 1yr in order to get another yr off if you became pregnant a 2nd time? I am sure they have some law on that right? ↑ |

I will go back to work , you need to work 600 hrs(or something like that) to get the time off so you bascily need to work 6 months full time then you can go on mat leave again.
The goverment pays you 55% of your salary-maxed at $45,000.00 so if you make over you wont get more. ↑ |

I told my work at 11 or 12 weeks, I work out of my home so if something did happen I didnt need to face people everyday.
But my company gives you extra time off for doctors appointment etc, so I wanted to tell them instead of always saying that I had appointments( plus my bosses wife is pregnant so I knew he would be sympathic to me) ↑ |

i know what you mean logan. I was extatic when I found out...and I counted down the days and the weeks and everyone told me to take it easy LOL. I was wearing my self out. Even my doc told me to sto counting or it would take forever! hah
Yeah I wish we got a year here. But I get 12 weeks unpaid because I haven't even been with the company for a year :( How sad.
I told my work at 12 or 13 weeks but I told my family at 10 weeks ↑ |
