Is anybody around who wants to chat? My husband just called and is going out with coworkers for dinner/drinks. So now I'm here and alone and bored. Anybody else?

I'm here! I'm watching Young and the Restless and washing all my baby clothes and blankets at the same time...I do keep checking back here though.

I am here, I didn't work very hard today I feel a little guilty.
Now I am just going to make dinner.
Dinner and drinks, that does sound far away from now.
I like dinner but usally I have to bring leftover home.

Oh I had to wash everything a couple weeks ago. The blankets aren't so bad, but folding the clothes was horrible! It seemed like there were so many because they are so small. And I've never folded baby clothes before, so I wasn't quite sure the best way to do some of them. That sounds pretty silly I'm sure, but I just have a set way that I fold my clothes and my husbands clothes, but it didn't really translate over too well to small baby clothes. I had to come up with a new folding system.

Oh connie, I didn't even go into work today. I was supposed to go in after my doc appointment, but I just really didn't feel like it, so I just stayed home. I wish I could go out for dinner and drinks too!

How old are your other 2? and are they boys or girls?

I know! Luckily since the clothes are so small you can wash a huge load of them. It's the washcloths I don't know what to do with. They are so tiny! I have a bumper for my crib and I have no idea how to put it on lol. Can anyone help me? I got the sheets and everything on, but I am seriously struggling with the bumper. I do have a crib tent on to keep my cats out so maybe thats interfering, but the picture on the box shows a happy baby, with a bumper around the crib and a cat sitting on top of the tent looking down. THATS WHAT I WANT!! Do I even need a bumper? I hate all this baby stuff. haha

my boys are 12 and 4... my husband and I both want a girl... :)

Randi... ha ha ha... if I were there, I would put it on for you... the bumper has folds where the corners of the crib are, you just line it up with the creases in the corners and tie the strings on the bars of the crib...

oh and the side with the 3 strings is one of the corners.

Name: Randi02 | Date: Nov 6th, 2006 11:34 PM
well there are only 3 sides! and what about the ruffle sheet? I have no idea how that goes on. i'm getting ready to just let him sleep on the floor. haha

Name: melmoney | Date: Nov 6th, 2006 11:34 PM
I think you definitely need the bumper. Mine just had ties to attach it to the crib. It goes on the inside of the crib and should just fit around the perimeter unless you have a very odd sized crib. Then if it has ties, you should just be able to find convienent places for each tie to attach to the wooden slats. That probably doesn't help much at all, but I'm sure you'll figure it out. I got really confused putting our whole crib set together, but eventually it worked out.

The ruffle sheet goes on underneath the actual mattress and hangs down.

bye mrsfinney

so I'm trying to decide whether or not I should go to the grocery store tonight. I can't really carry the groceries up the steps of our apartment anymore, so I would either have to make about 20 separate trips or just leave half of it in the car till my husband gets home. and I'm also feeling lazy and don't want to move from the couch...

i hate grocery shopping for the same reason. i wish i could take the shopping cart home with me. I just wait until Tyler gets home now and drag him out.

Name: melmoney | Date: Nov 7th, 2006 12:27 AM
Yeah, I really don't think I'm going to go tonight. I was going to wait until Blake got home and then just make him go with me, but I think it will be too late to go by then. Oh well, looks like he'll just get a crappy lunch packed tomorrow since we're out of pretty much everything. I'll just tell him that it's his fault though since he just had to go out tonight. Hehe.

Hey there melmoney! I'm here to chat my husband is at work on the late shift

Name: connie | Date: Nov 7th, 2006 12:29 AM
I just had salmon and rice and the little guy is going crazy.
It's funny I can feel him kick when I am standing up now.
I love going shopping, but I always buy stuff I don't need-cookies,muffins-egg nog.

Name: Randi02 | Date: Nov 7th, 2006 12:44 AM
I never liked egg nog until this year. I have been drinking milk too. Pregnancy makes you weird.

Name: melmoney | Date: Nov 7th, 2006 12:47 AM
hey jennie! where does your husband work?

connie - I just hate going shopping by myself because I can't walk very fast through the store with the cart anymore and it annoys the other shoppers. I honestly don't really care whether or not they get annoyed with how fast I'm going, but sometimes they get really rude about it and that's what upsets me. I hate when people follow behind me real real close because they think it will make me go faster. Or when I'm trying to get something down from a high shelf and they can barely get around so they bump me with their cart. Lots of people are just rude and they have no respect for the pregnant. It's easier when my husband is there because for some reason people will be nicer when it's not just me.

I hate those shoppers, the grocery isle are never big enough, I usally shop every week, because I hate doing a big shop and carrying it myself.
I do the grocery shopping and my husband does the costco shop.( I spend to much money at costco)
If we were in the same city i would shop for you.
Randi02-
I love egg nog, the other day I had to go to 2 stores to find it. But its as good without the rum.

Okay, I'm starting to get a little pissed that my husband isn't home yet! Haha. I'm pretty sure that I'm just being hormonal, but I'm starting to get angry.

My husband is playing hockey tonight so I can watch normal t.v, no sports-even though we have another t.v, I hate having sports on all the time.

Name: melmoney | Date: Nov 7th, 2006 1:02 AM
We barely ever watch sports here. My husband just really isn't that into watching sports on tv. The only time we watch anything is when there is a game that I want to see. Then he normally finds something else to do while I watch.

Well it was very nice chatting with everybody tonight while I was being so bored. I think I'm going to go take a nice hot bath now to ease some of my back pains and then probably go to bed. Have a great night all!

Britney Spears was just on David Letterman and she looks amazing. She has blonde short hair, wow, she looked like she did in the old days. Wow.
I need a personal trainer/chef/maid and need to have tons of money after I have my baby and maybe I can look like that.
Wow good for her, now is she can only dump Kevin.
