So we are trying to decide between 2 names....
Eva Maria
Or
Ave Maria
I like Ave Becuase it has meaning...(it means Hail Mary)
And alex likes eva

How 'bout a compromise with Ava Maria pronounced ay-vuh. That's how some spell it instead of Eva. Just a thought- :) ↑

Yeah...Ave Maria is a song we used to sing every Tuesday in Primary school. And every day for the month of Spring.

Definitely go with Eva.

Yeah iguess it is pretty religeous but alex and i are catholic and he picked eva because it is a derivitive of eve...
We really don't know right now...maybe when she is born she will look like a steve...after all you never know ↑

Over here it's pronounced Ah-vay.

And we are a pedominantly Catholic nation. Lol. That's probably why I don't like it.

I'm Baptist myself..though I don't practise. Yikes!

I really like the way he think Eva is nice because it's a derivitive of Eve.

And I think Eve is just as beautiful! ↑

I am a catholic and I would say as a woman, teacher and potential mother that although AVE MARIA is nice I would NEVER name my child that, it is opening the door to potential bullying. Eva is lovely and I would have that as a first name and Maria as the middle name so that she is always called Eva, not Eva Maria all the time. That's my opinion, like it or lump it but I hope it helps. ↑
