It should get better once the baby drops down a bit. Mine used to ache like crazy!

my left ribs are hurting so bad, they feel like i was beat in my sleep. like bruised. im only 24 weeks so i dono if its normal or not, but god it hurts.

My ribs don't hurt at all for me it is my back. My stomach has gotten quite a bit biger over the last month or so, but I am still pretty small for being 28.5 weeks along. I think that the extra weight and the hormones are doing me in though :)

omg my back is killing me too, but its like where my ass bone and spine meet it feels like someone sitting right there and just pushing all their weight on me, i hate it. lol

OMG me too, but it spreads that low to each side of my hips. It is like I need to crach my back or something. After I have been laying in bed and wake up in the night to go pee (ya know all 7 times) when I stand up it hurts sooo bad that I almost fell a couple of times. If I get any bigger or this baby drops I don;t know what I am going to do. Coart you are already carrying pretty low though so maybe that is why you are having some pain that low in your back.

yeah, my doctor says im carrying low too but everything inside is good. she said something about having a small or short torso so thats why the baby made his room down there lol some crap, and yeh omg laying down and getting up is the worse. it seriously feels like its going into your hips and when u get up to walk ur hips kind of get a sharp pain and want to give out.. yeh everytime im like ow, scotts like what im like your son hates me haha

I wish I could tell you that things will get better once the baby drops but in some cases this just isn't the case. When I was pregnant with my son he was in my rib cage the entire time including when he finally dropped. I had bruises to show for it. I am 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second and she dropped quit awhile ago and my ribs still hurt. In most cases though by the time the baby drops things do normally get better. I am just convinced in my case that I just don't have a whole lot of room to carry a baby without having them in my rib cage.

yea i am thinking the same thing.

Well hopefully once the baby drops you will start to feel more comfortable.

oh i hope so, i mean ribs hurt all the way around, meaning in my back too not just the font of them. lucian loves putting his little tushy up in there and just leaving it there.

OUCH...I feel you pain...I remember those days. Ethan would put his feet up there and push my ribs outward. Or he would place his feet on the edge of my rib cage and push up. I would actually sit there and try to encourage him to move but unfortunately there wasn't any where he could go.

my son never dropped. he was still high up when I was in labor. They thought that I was going to have a hard time pushing, becuase he wouldn't engage, but he came out in like 4 or 6 pushes. I am not having the rib issue with this baby though. well at least not yet, but I still have some time left. I think that she is lower because it is my back and my lower stomach that bother me right now.

Yeah it sounds like she is hanging out lower. So maybe this time around it will only take 2 pushes and the baby will be out....

one can only hope LOL My son was only 7 lbs 6oz, but gary's son was 10lbs 7oz. I think that the big abby thing came form his side though, becuase she already had other kids and they were all normal size. I do not want to have 10pound baby come out of me LOL

Oh I am right there with you. I was worried about delivering a big baby when I was pregnant with my son. He was 8 lbs. 10 oz when he was born.

I hope for my sake that the big baby thing was his ex's fault. Maybe the more you have the bigger they get LOL I jsut want a nice normal size baby with a nice normal size head :) Oh ya both of our boys have big heads LOL

I don't know. In some case I have heard that with each baby was a little bit larger but then in others I have heard where the babies where actually smaller or the same. So I have no clue.

I want to have another US to see how big she is right now. My dr said that she is measuring normal, but I forgot to get a weight. I guess it doesn't really matter untill I am closer anyway.

I only had one ultrasound and at that time she was measuring right on target but so was my son. The doctor continue to say she is right on target but at the same time she been down for sometime now so I don't know. I want to say that I think that she is going to smaller just because Ethan was constantly up in my rib cage but I also carried him high. With Kylie I have carried her low through out my pregnancy.

I have a dr appt tomorrow I am going to ask him if I get to have any more US. I had lots and lots with my son. I only gained 12lbs total and they were worried. Now I haven't gained much with this baby either, but maybe it was because I was younger back they that they though I was starving my self or something.
