When are we supposed to actually take childbirth classes...I want to get my papers in and signed up, but I don't know what dates to try to take the class, I don't want to take it too early, but I don't want to be too close to my due date, either.... if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate the advice! ↓

The hospital I'm delivering at said that 28 weeks is about right. You usually have to sign up a month early though so I'd plan ahead. I signed up to late and wont be getting in until almost 34 weeks if I haven't already had my baby by then. ↑

The prenatal classes here you had to book way in advance too and when I did they book you for about a month before your due date!! ↑

My doctor told me to sign the same as what nicole said, 28-30 weeks.
I acuallty start mine on Wednesday, they are every wednesday from 7-9 for 6 weeks- I think it will help the time go by fast to, ↑

thanks ladies...I was looking at the website for my hospital and it looks like I can sign up for a class pretty much anytime between now and when I'm due...so I'll probably sign up to start mine in about 4-5 wks. (I'll be 30 by then)

How far along are you connie? I'm sure I've seen your due date somewhere on the board, but I don't remember.... ↑

At the hospital that I am going to have my baby at they usually say to sign up for the classes by 5 months... ↑
