| I'm not a fan of it because of the lack of mountains! I'm a BC girl and so I miss snowboarding and swimming in glacier fed lakes...awwww. I'm from the Vancouver/Whistler area so it was good to get out of there with all the olympic prep going on. I am living in Brooks right now... I guess if you are from Calgary you must know where that is. I am due in December...sometime between the 5th and the 18th. Oh yeah and I guess the weather is not too great. It's sooo dry! I'm used to the humidity from the ocean. ↑ |

| In Calgary I can see the mountains everyday-not like Whistler Mountains. Have you been to Banff? I used to ski every weekend( just to expensive now-plus being pregnant). I know where Brooks is, its a little to small for me, I need the city. Alberta is so dry especially in the winter. Are you having your baby in Brooks ? ↑ |

| No we are having him in Lethbridge. Brooks is too small for me too. And it's way too transient...it's very hard to make decent friends. I am starting to wish that we hadn't bought a house here, but it's where the money is right now and we did get a good deal. Yes I have been to Banff (it's basically albertas whistler) my car actually died at the petro can there when I was driving out (with all my stuff in my car to move to brooks) so I have spent a few hours there lol. We are planning on moving back to BC in the next 2 years though. Where are you having your baby? Have you been to ultrasound preview? We drove out to Calgary and got a 3d done in September. ↑ |

| I love B.C, especially the water, my Dad lived in Victora for 5years I loved to visit. I am having my baby at Rockyview Hospital,not till March which seems so far away.(especailly since the little man is kicking lots today) I have had a couple of ultrasound, I just got one on Thursday I put some picture http://www.babyc rowd.com/jr/online/connie s on my baby journal-have a look. | Those pictures are pretty good. Better than the ones we got! He keeps his hands up in front of his face everytime we try to look. SO we have lots of pictures of him hiding his face. I just had another ultrasound in Lethbridge on Friday but he was too big and of course hiding, so we didn't get any decent ones. What is your due date? Your feeling him lots? I miss when it was little kicks and flutters. Now it is full on assults on my ribs and he rolls so theres elbows and knees. It is pretty funny, I just don't appreciate the fact that he decides to do it between 2 am and 4 am. Kinda hard to sleep. ↑ |

| I am due March 14/07 so I am 21 weeks,tomorrow 22 weeks. I have been getting lots of kicks from him they make me cry. I called them love taps for now. If I drink juice or Chai Tea( any suger) he moves. I wish I could feel him all the time. I know soon will hurt, but I feel more connected when he moves. I just drank some juice so anytime now I will feel him move. I get kicks at all times of the day, nothing while I sleep. I am still sleeping on my back/side( it's hard to stay on your side). Have you picked names? How long have you been on this forum? I started around 10 weeks ago. Oh, our little guys name is Xavier( my husbad picked it) ↑ |

| We have named him Kaden Tyler. Xavier was actually one of the names we were thinking of... my husband is a dork and wanted to name him after professor Xavier from Xmen (Kaden was actually a compromise between Kade (the name I wanted) and Raidan ( a video game character) so thats why I vetoed Xavier and Raidan haha) I totally know what you mean about feeling connected. When there was no movement I was constantly worrying (I had a rough start to my pregnancy) and I didn't feel pregnant. I still enjoy it and I enjoy that my husband can see and feel it now. I had trouble sleeping on my side too ( I was a belly sleeper) I went to wal mart and got a body pillow and it has helped me a lot. The only drawback was that Tyler kept stealing it, so I went out and bought another one so there's barely any room for either of us in the bed. It's really comfy though! Especially now since my belly is so heavy I need to put something underneath it when I lay down. ↑ |

| I dont know where Karl( my husband) got the name-St.Frances Xavier is a Saint( and my husband is catholic). But I didn'thave any names so he won. I love your name it sounds so nice. I was just lying down and I got a couple of kicks. Did you find your pregnancy went by quickly, I find it that is going so slow. I just don't want to work anymore. I have 2 weeks off in December,then I will start my mat leave in the middle of February. I work for Dyson Vacuums, I am a sales trainer for Alberta so I train stores-LNT,Sears,Bay,CTC, Zellers Home Outfitter how to sell or vacuums. So I do allot of bending and traveling etc. So my belly gets in the way, i also need to buy a winter coat, since my buttons are about to pop. ↑ |

| Wow, being a vacuum saleswoman must be tough...do you have to haul them around? I just quit my job last week. I actually had quit back in May but a friend of mine opened up a business at the end of July, so I decided to help her out. I really miss having some structure to my day and I hate being home all by myself while my husband is at work, but working was definately getting to be too much. Is your belly getting quite big then? And I found the same thing about time going slowly. I found it goes by a lot quicker now that I am so close to the end. Before it would kill me waiting to hit certain milestones...such as the halfway point, the point where he could survive with intensive care and on and on. Now though I find I don't have enough time to do the things I need to before he comes (I'm a really great procrastinator) As for the winter coat I hear you! It is sooo cold here, especially the last week, hey? I ended up buying this i guess maternity trench coat kind of thing. It's brown and I love it! I also wear my husbands company jacket but I still swim in it. ↑ |

| No I dont carry any vacuums, I mostly just train them at there stores and they have all our vacuums. I set up displays too, so that is allot of bending etc. My stomach is getting bigger, I have only gain 15 pounds, and it is all in my stomach. At the begining of the day I am fine, but as the day goes on it gets harder. I was thinking of getting a wrap for a winter coat, instead of a maternity jacket( I guess I still think I can wear normal clothes) I still can wear a few normal pants but it is pushing it. I am still working out, the only weight is all in my belly. As soon as December comes, time will go by faster.I know I should enjoy this time, it's just I want to be done work. I have a dog, and I work out all the time so I do keep busy. I also got married this year and still need to do all our wedding albums so I should have stuff to do when I done work.
