yes. thats what it is meant for. i have 3 kids and have used it on all of them. i would suggest not just using it when his tushie gets red. use it at every diaper change as a preventative method. its too hard and painful for the baby i might add, to try to get rid of a rash. ↑

Use babypowder with cornstartch on a reddened bum it works great. ↑

The doctors told me not to use baby powder around a newborn. ↑

i was told to be careful with powder too because it can be breathed into their lungs. ↑

I was told not to use baby powder, but you should use the desitin with every diaper change every if no rash. ↑
