so i went to the doctor today and we got to have an ultrasound. we got to see the baby move it was amazing. andi saw it's legs and arms. we didn't get to hear the heartbeat. because the baby is way back by my spine and since i'm not a tiny girl the doppler didn't pick it up, but as most of you know doctors say you can't hear it until 12 weeks anyway. ok so the baby is down by my spine due to the fact that my uterus has an arc on the top of it. which isn't really a big deal, except that i might have pre term labor or the baby may be breech, it is something i was born with. anyway, it was awesome, i loved seeing the baby move all around.

That's great Firsttimer. I'm glad everything is good (minus your uterus thing).

Those appointments get more and more exciting as you get closer. It is really cool to get an u/s no matter how far along you are though. I can't wait till I have another (if I even do before he gets here). I'm sure that you'll hear the heart next time. It took them a while to find my baby's when I had my appointment around that time.

My uterus is tilted to the back and it sits way back in my back as well i am now 30wks and 3days and it is popin out like you wouldn't beleive. My first was 4 and 1/2 weeks premie but she was fine this one is gonna be a big one premmie or not lol but it is fine not sure if your born with it or not but you can't help it. I am sure you will do just fine.

Glad to hear about your appt. I went to my first appt not hearing the hearbeat as well. I did go back to the Dr. 2 weeks later and we heard the heartbeat..... Now at 14 weeks, I am able to feel the baby move. You have so much to look forward to. Keep track of things and don't forget to take pictures......
