you mean like books about pregnancy and child birth?
i hear what to expect when expecting is a good one ↑ |
Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody is a true story about a woman's escape from Iran with her daughter. It's the best book I've ever read. It'll have you on the edge of your seat. Absolutely amazing! ↑ |
Naw.
Fiction she wants.
I've really stopped readin' fiction since I got pregnant...It sucks.
All I wanna read is about the baby. What he looks like now and the such.
Ha.
There's plenty of reading material in that alone.
But...I think a good novel would be The Lake House by Frank Patterson.
I read it back in college. ↑ |
If you want a pregnancy book the "girlfriends guide to pregnancy" is good. If you are just looking for fiction I have been reading the Diana Gabaldon Outlander series is great. The beginning of the first one (Outlander) is a little hard to get into, but after that point you really can't put it down. ↑ |
Whoopsies. That would be James Patterson. Lol. What a dumbwit I am.
Cell by Steven King is good too. ↑ |
Ohh Mrs. Mike is a good book by Benedict and Nancy Freedman..itll make you cry though ↑ |
kite runner is a great book...what kind of fiction? ↑ |
i have read where the heart is and little earthquakes. they are both about women who are pregnant and just heart warming fun books. ↑ |
the book i reccomended is about a girl who moves to canada from boston (back in the old days ) and marries a mounty and a whole lot of other stuff....when i read it the 1st time i was like 14 or 15 and i wanted to marry a mounty lol ↑ |
read belly laughs and baby laughs by jenny mccarthy ↑ |
Anita Shreve is one of my favorite authors. She wrote The Pilots Wife. She has about 8 or 9 books. I've loved most of them. Good Grief by Lolly Winston was pretty good too. ↑ |
Any book by Patricia Cornwell is AWESOME.....specifically her Kay Scarpetta series.
And Kathy Reichs is similar to Patricia Cornwell. pretty good as well.
The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield is a good one if you're into that kind of stuff....
I mainly read Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reich for my fiction, but in between their books, I usually read non-fiction stuff. Like True Crime (Ann Rule is good), and stuff on Free Masonry and The Knights Templar. ↑ |
I can't remember the last time I read a book... I love crossword puzzles.. Not the reader's digest ones... Lame! The New York Times ones.. They are hard but really keep your mind occupied.. ↑ |
I haven't read a fiction book in ages. Seems as if since I got pregnant all I read is stuff about the baby. I loved Not Without My Daughter, but it is a true story. Right now I'm trying to talk hubby into reading "Childproofing Your Marriage" with me. I heard the lady talking on the radio awhile back and she had some really good things to say. ↑ |
Ohh my god, i saw that movie, im sure the book is so much more intense!!! ↑ |
I love anything by Nora Roberts. She' s an amazing fiction writer. ↑ |
