Ok so i was jsut wondering if I am normal or not. I am 18 weeks and I feel the baby move, but not like hard kicks or anything. It is jsut once in a while too. I mean I feel something everyday, but it isn't strong. I was just wondering if this is normal or should I be able to feel it all the time and strong at this point????

It gets more and more constant as you get further along. I would say the most active week for me was week 28 because its kicking and rolling, but now he is cramped in there and he sleeps most of the day, so i feel a lot of rolling...mostly at night when I am trying to sleep or when I change position. It happens differently for everyone, but thats how it happened for me! I hope that helps!

Ya on my email it is jilla because I was just married in april so before then my last name was anderson and I have had my email since I was a teenager LOL Now the last name is walker.

I am glad to hear that it is normal. I was worried that the baby was not active enough or something. I am such a worrier with this baby though :) Glad to hear that the flutters are still normal at this stage.

Yah, I only feel my baby kick at night when I lay down for bed and she is 27 weeks. Every once and a while I'll feel a good kick throughout the day but it seems like she is up at 2am kicking the crap out of me and sleeping during the day.

You have to remember..that 18 weeks the baby is active, but is only 5-6 inches about crown to rump, and weighs prolly around 7 ounces...almost half a pound. So it's not likely you will feel the baby's every movement because the baby is still so small.

I'm 15w3d...can you all tell me when you started to feel the baby and when other people could? I know that's week's away but man is my husband getting antsy!!!

I was thinking that too julie, but then I was like what if I put half of a ruler in side of my tummy and flipped it around I think I would feel that LOL. I am just glad that it is normal not to feel too much at this stage. I don't remember when I felt my son move, but it seemed like as soon as I felt him he never stopped, but of course the first time I "felt him" you could feel form the outside too so I am sure that I jsut didn't notice all of these little flutters at this stage with him. I feel much better now though thank you guys.

I felt it first about 16weeks, but I was not sure if it was the baby or gas. it is almost like a tickle inside fo you that last for about a half of a second. I don't think that you can feel it form the outside until much later, but I don't know exactly

people constantly ask is your baby kicking i would just say yeah because i didn't know if it was gas or what. once you start getting bigger the kicks will be actual kicks and you will know!!!!
So don't worry soon you feel the powerful kicks inside you
now i am 39weeks and ready to get this footbal player out of my stomach!!! lol

Yah.. I think 13 is to early. I think that 16 is about the earliest I've heard so far. That's about when I felt my first tiny flutter.
