Hello everyone, my name is Liz im 18, im still in high school and i used to be anorexic... about a month ago i found my eating habits to be very out of control, so i stole some stacker 3 pills and took one or two every other day for about a week. i starved myself as best i could, but the pills stopped working after a while so i gave up.

i went out drinking maybe once or twice, and didnt get much sleep. i also went through a lot of stress with my boyfriend and moved three hours away from him about 2 weeks ago...

i found out about a week ago that it turns out i was 6 weeks pregnant, and now im about 7... its weird to think i was pregnant for 6 weeks and had no idea!

i am now trying as hard as i can to eat healthy and regularly, altho its hard because im used to skipping meals and eating so much isnt natural to me...

i was wondering if stacker 3 pills are very dangerous at the stage i was in while i was taking them (about 2 or 3 weeks along at the time...) and what harm i may have caused my baby... i am trying to get on medicaid so i can see a OB as soon as possible...

any help or even support would be greatly appreciated! thank you for your time!

It seems to me that you should really make sure you have this eating disorder under control now. What you have taken for stacker 3 pills probably didnt do any harm, but theres no gurantee. Make sure you eat right now because from here on out what you do or dont put into your body will effect your baby growing inside of you. A healty diet is soooo important when pregnant. Start taking prenatal vitamins immediatly, you can buy them at walmart or any drug store will have them. Even though they are over the counter doesnt matter they work just as well. Go buy them!!!!!!!! You need folic acid the most in the begining of your pregnancy to help prevent spinal bifida and other birth defects. I cant emphasize the importance of the vitamins enough. But they do not take the place of eating right. I wish you all the best and hopefully you will get your eating disorder in check. Maybe you should look into some professional help too. Theres no shame in that.

I know what you are going through. I was the same way when I ot preg at 17. It was hard and a struggle. I gained less than 15 pounds throughout the whole preg. I had a healthy baby. Of Course the morning sickness didn't help. At first I lost weight then had to gain that back and then try to gain for the baby. The baby got all the nutrients while I went downhill. After I had my baby I weighed less than I did before I got pg. Take your prenantal vitamins. Eat small meals instead of 3 big ones. Apply for medicade so you can get in to see a doc. I'm here if ya want to chat.

Are you the same Liz that is thinking of putting your baby up for adoption? I just noticed a Liz on the adoption crowd and was wondering if it was you.

I've never taken Stacker but I have taken MANY other diet pills in my day and I'm pretty sure most diet pills are herbal now that effedra has been removed from the market. In the early stages of pregnancy the baby is extremely resillient to substances we would consider dangerous. Try not to worry about it, it won't help and all you can do now is your best to make sure that baby is healthy. Also, you don't have to eat a ton to get adequate nurishment for you and the baby, just up your calorie intake by about 250 -300 calories a day -- that's about three 8 oz. glasses of milk or juice a day, and be sure to take your prenatal vitamin every day (if you find the prenatal vitamin upsetting your stomach try taking it at night before bed). You'll be just fine.

Well Liz you have to do what you feel is the right thing for your baby, if you feel adoption is right for him/her then so be it. I wish the best in whatever you may decide, and I am glad to hear you have your ED under control. Take care sweetie!
