Hey lena i'm due Jan 25th this is my second child but i'm still kinda nervous. How about you? I guess my worries are about pain and having to go through another C section. They are definetly no fun. How has your pregnancy been?

mine is due jan. 21. my third child and we are not finding out the sex. i have a 13 yr old and a 6 yr old, both boys. i am 20 1/2 weeks and have gained 6 pounds. with my last 2 i had probably gained at least 20 by now. dont know how i've done it. doc only wants me to gain 15-20 pnds. both my boys were delivered without any drugs and i was only 19 with my first. so lena, you can do it! its very satisfying to feel so strong. good luck.

Missy and Jen, thx for reply:)Missy you must be proud of your 2 year-old:)My friend had the same situation as u with the age of the babies, she is very tired because of this, but happy as well, because her older girl is getting more and more self-efficient and her little boy is still a baby so she can remember herself the times when Julia was so little:)
Jen finding out the sex is so exciting, i din't react emotionally when the doc told us, but now I'm so proud that I'm having a little boy:)I gained about10kg so far. I'm a bit worried about the next few months!!

we are not finding out the sex this time because we did find out the first 2 times, so now i want to be surprised. although it was very nice to plan for my 2 boys before the arrived, i dont think its the same as waiting for 9 months and then finding out at the birth. it seems like it would be so thrilling. i think i am in the minority though, like everyone is finding out the sex of their baby but me. congrats on your son.

Well i have three other children and have always gone to the hospital for delivery. This time i thought it would be great to do it in familiar territory.
Besides i've become good friends with a housewife and i feel very comfortable with her. Thanks for replying.

Hi Laura! I am due Jan. 24th w/ my first and I'm delivering in a hospital but I totally respect your decision to have your baby at home. My sister has had her last 4 (out of 6) at home. I was fortunate to witness 2 of those births. She has them in a birthing tub which helps w/ the contractions. She has calming music, candles and all the people she wants to be w/ her. Her and her mid-wife where trying real hard : ) to explain the benefits of have a home birth but with my first I would be too nervous. I wish you all the blessings in the world, Laura!!!!
