i've just turned 29 weeks and my morning sickness has returned. it kicked up in the middle of this week. but thank god, this time it's only actually in the morning. and unlike my "all day sickness" that i had in the first trimester, i haven't actually, ahem, vomited yet. just dry heaving.

i thought this kicks in at about 34-36 weeks, around the time you start labor. anyone else experiencing this? should i ask my doctor for a new anti-nausea prescription or just tough it out?

I'm 30 weeks and 6 days and its started kicking back in for me. I feel so miserable!
It almost feels worse then it was at the start of my pregnancy i dont know why.
When i had morning sickness at the start of my pregnany eating more food and taking my vitmins helped, but not this time!
Putting a cool cloth on my forehead or stomach does seem to help though. Then again i am in Australia and its STINKING hot here!

I am 32 weeks and 4 days and it started up again for me about a week and a half ago. I had it really severely in the beginning though, so I was told to expect it again. I have just been taking it easy, taking my vitamins at night again and eating arrowroot cookies.

i dont remember exactly where i heard it tariece. i just remember reading that when i had morning sickness in the beginning. it isn't as bad now as it was in my first trimester. then again, i could just be speaking too soon. i just hope it doesn't get as bad as it did. it nearly killed me! i was so dehydrated from not being able to keep anything down, not even water, for days on end that i almost suffered kidney failure. i'm just scared of being miserable all over again.

I had morning sickness from 7 weeks til 16 weeks, then I had about 12 weeks or so off, and it started again at about 28 weeks and lasted til about two weeks before my baby was born. The second bout wasn't as bad as the first round vomiting-wise, I just felt nauseous a lot of the time. Midwife told me if it got really bad, she'd give me something (altho I can't remember what), but I just dealt with it seeing as I wasn't puking too too much :) Good luck!

spanky, i had the same problem as you, i had it really severely, i couldnt even hold down water, my blood sugar level dropped way too low, and all my midwife told me was to wait it out. the girls on here helped any which way they could with remedies, but nothing worked at all. just made it worse. im now at 14w5d and its getting better down to a few times a week instead of like 10 times a day. but it still makes me so miserable.

I feel for you.

My m/s came back at like 20 weeks and lasted until about 30. I still can't eat certain "trigger" foods. It all depends on the position of the baby and how many hormones your body is creating. To answer your question, yes it's completely normal.
