so for the past two weeks ive noticed i always have a piece or two of stride or orbitz spearmint gum.. all other gums are making me feel sick, and not chewing gum makes me feel sick. the weird part is i can just brush my teeth and i feel sick b.c i taste this funny taste in my mouth and then i have to get a piece of gum so i cant taste it .. did anyone else have this weird of a symptom? its not like a metal taste its more so like worse than morning breath. i brush my teeth 3 times a day and it just wont go away and its driving me nuts, and i think ive bought all the spearmint gum at the local store :(

Coart... your gums can get pregnancy gingivitis (sp) which can make your breath stink... I have gingivitis anyways so with being pregnant its even worse... Jay says I about kill him in my sleep!! OR it could just be your taste buds screwing with you. A lot of things you liked/or didnt mid before might completely disgust you now.

my husband says that I have bad breath too. It is so funny how you think that you are the only odd one only to find out it is pretty common. My gums are fine, but I think that it is coming from my stomach. I know that you have been having a hard time keeping down food it may be that your stomach is empty and that is causing bad taste and breath. You can try a toung scraper they help to get rid of the bacteria on you toung and help with that funky taste a little. Aside form that just be sure to brush (which you are) and floss daily to deep you gums as healthy as you can.

No I haven't but I can't have anything mint it makes me sneeze so bad, I acuallty got a bleeding nose from it.
Maybe it's your hormones reacting to the gum , maybe try a different flavor

Try frequent rinsing with mouthwash.

I actually had to chew gum for the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy. I had such bad morning sickness that everything I ate left a bad taste in my mouth that made me sick. I use to gag when I brush my teeth but then I switched to a toddler size toothbrush and now I don't have any problems.
