i had a miscarriage almost 42 days ago.. i hadnt started a normal period since. my doctor told me to wait 2 months before trying again, but my fiance and i were really sad i m.c.ed so we tryed again pretty soon afterwards. i started to get impatient because normally my cycle is around 31-34 days. so i took a pregnancy test that i had bougth off the internet. it was just a test strip. i wait a couple minutes and lo and behold there are two lines, which according to the pregnancy test means i am pregnant... here is my question... 1. could i be pregnant again so soon? and 2. is it possible that i still had the pregnancy hormone left in my urine from over a month ago when i miscarried? i wouldnt think so but you never know... so i thought i'd ask you guys to see if you know... the second line was decently dark. ↓

| i know the pregnancy hormone does stay with you for a little while after a miscarriage but i can't remember for how long. I would just ask your doc ↑ |

| i know that if you have an abortion they tell you not to test for 30 days because the pregnancy hormone is still in your system. hope that helps some ↑ |

Well, i also had a miscariage in July and my period took 10 weeks to come afterwards. I havent luck with pregnancy yet, but i think the hormone lasts about 2 weeks after your miscarriage. I remember i had mine on a Friday and by the following Monday my tests were already negative. And yes, it is possible to get pregnant that quick. I think there's a girl on here who got pregnant right away. Plus, i think a month is way too long to have the pregnancy hormone after you have a miscarriage. Hope this helps and hope you are pregnant!!! It's safe to get preggers right away, they recommend you to wait 3 months, but i dont think its bad ↑ |

| well i've deff. been feeling very tired these past few days and just today my breasts started aching and my back has been a little achy and a couple days ago i was peeing like crazy and ive had a little bit of crampyness in my abdomen, which is why i didnt think i was pregnant, but i heard a little bit of crampyness is normal ↑ |

| actually i was supposed to get my period aroung the 8th but still none and today ive been cramping also like crazy and peeing alot, but i dont feel pregnant though, i guess im gonna take a test this weekend if my pd. doesnt come ↑ |

anomaly, you may very well be pregnant. you ovulate before you get your period which means if you had sex about 2 weeks after your mc, you may be. The hormone should be gone now, mine was gone within a week. I would call your doc and set an apt. I pray this is it for you sweetie and congrats on that and your upcoming wedding. ↑ |

| I could very well be that its still showing pregnancy from the first time, I have been reading that sometimes if just a littlle bit of tissue has not been passed by your body you will still test positive. Now if you had a D&C then your HCG levels should have dropped within a week after it. ↑ |

Well i didnt have a D&C and my hormones were gone i think it was a week after my m/c. I woke up this morning again with cramping, it's not so so bad, but it's been persistent since yesterday, and i dont think that's pregancy symptom. Maybe it's just the start of my period, but that's weird since i never cramp. Since im irregular im not sure when im supposed to get my pd, but hopefully i wont get it...LOL

| anomaly, my mom had a Mc in her 4th month after she had me. She had severe bleeding when it got uncontrolable she went to the doctor with a Pregnancy test and it was positive. She delievered the baby and had a d&c and waited for her period the following two months and when it didn't come she tested and it was positive but she wasn't pregnant. There isn't many cases like that but it happened to my Mom.. But I hope you are pregnant! Good luck ↑ |
