| I have been having contraction since 27 weeks some pre-term some braxton hicks and the last time he checked nothing. That last week though I have notice a small amount of egg-white discharge. However I am not 100% sure this has anything to do with my mucus plug because when I lost mine with Ethan I lost a large amount at one time and then nothing, I also went from 0 to 4 cm. ↑ |

| hmm this just sucks lol. i cant even ask my mom about it either because our pregnancies are black and white when compared to eachother! i turned down an internal at my last appt but i dont know if i should turn down my next one too. i kinda want to know if the bh's are doing anything but then again, i dont want to set myself up for disappointment either ↑ |

you know...with my last pregnancy I don't remember any mucus plug coming out or anything....a couple months ago someone was asking a question on here about a mucus plug, and i thought what the heck is that. hmmmmmm......

| i thought that too coartney and i brought it up to my bf. he pointed out that at only one u/s the due date was jan 22 instead of jan 14 but i had one the very next day where i measured on time. and i've had about 4 u/s's since, all of which indicate that my due date according to my lmp is correct. so my body is retarded and i'm thinking of naming her kevin jr. now! ↑ |

| Well you do eventually lose it it's just one of those question as to when you lose it or lost it. The mucus plug actually covers the cervix so by the time you delivery you should have lost it. Just another one of those pregnancy situation that varies from one pregnancy to the next. ↑ |

| Yeah that is what happen when I lost mine with my son. It was one large snotty clump with a small amount of blood. I actually freaked out because I had no clue as to what it was. ↑ |

| I didn't even know that we lost that until I started chatting on here. I went to the hospital when I discovered in the bath that I had a hemroid (didn't know that is what it was at the time) when I was pregnant with jeremiah LOL I prob would ahve called 911 if something like that came out of me ↑ |

| I don't think you should turn down the exam malolory b/c the cervical exams can actually help things along. B/w sex and my vaginal exam, I gave birth to Harper the next day after my appt. ↑ |

I have Braxton Hicks all the time, my belly gets so tight I have to sit down right away.
Will I be getting them right before my real contractions? My belly gets such a workout because of it. ↑ |

| i never thought of the exam helping kristy. but it makes sense. i just dont want to be disappointed. i think sex brought on my first braxton hicks contractions. that night i had sex and within two hours they started and didn't let up. it just sucks because i can only have sex maybe once or twice a month because i dont live with my bf anymore and my mom's mad at him lol. so i guess its just me and my doctor now lol ↑ |
