i heard/read that too and i've been kind of "runny" lately but it could just be all the frosted mini wheats lol. i think it's the runs in combination with other things that would make it a true sign of labor. nausea and vomiting i heard is a sign of labor too. gosh, and to actually think we WANT to go into labor lol! !

LOL....Yes diarrhea, neasea and even vomiting can all be signs of impending labor. It could also be a sign of your coming down with something. I have been having all three for the last week, someday nothing so I know that I am not coming down with anything.

Maybe your body is just getting ready for the big day by flushing out your system.

eww i hate how nature is preparing us for motherhood. i cant sleep for more than two hours at a time now. i guess it's a sign of encouragement to formula feed :]]

LMAO...If I could get two hours a sleep at a time I think I would be the happiest person on the face of this earth right now. I am constantly getting up to go to the bathroom because either I moved or the baby moves.

i have to go to the bathroom probably every 20 minutes. but i think i just sleep through it. but she doesn't get in my ribs or anything so she doesn't make me painfully uncomfortable. it's just i'm anxious to have her because of the low fluid problems. i wont feel as if she's safe until shes in my arms

I am on a 3 hr schedual LOL I have to get up and pee even if I don't drink water before bed LOL I am soooo sick of it and I still have about 11ish weeks. I had surgery to have kidney stones removes several years ago and every since then my bladder has not been able to hold through the night so I am used to getting up at least once, but 4-5 times a night is making me nuts.

Yeah I get up more often if I have had something to drink before bed

i am drinking water until i go to bed, and ive actually gone from getting up and peeing 10 times a night, to once or twice a night and having completely full bladder each time, and the sad thing, i still wake up at 7am like on the dot, i hate it lol

I had the runs for about 3 weeks before my water broke. And I puked like crazy right before and right after I delivered.

oo right after? im afraid of puking from the epidural or any kind of meds they give me, i have like a severe reaction to pain meds lol awesome.

The puking isn't from the epidural. It's just a normal response to labor and delivery. It's pretty common, but no one freakin told me that so I thought something was wrong!

Yes, this is true, but diarrhoea can also be caused by other things too, so don't worry.

I am in the latent phase of labor already (having real contractions that are changing my cervix... but luckily very slowly). My doctor told me that both diarrhea and vomitting could be caused by that. I'm not sure if that is 100% proof positive though because I am also on a medication to stop contractions that makes me very very ill.

I'm pretty sure that it happens in everyone at some point once they are somewhere between 2 weeks to just hours before delivery.... or so I've heard from everybody.
