Last night at about 8pm kendra was hungry so I layed with her at the foot of my bed cross ways and not long ways so that she could look at the tv. We do this about every night jsut to have some relax time and cuddle time before bed. Well last night she was tired and so was I because we both ended up falling to sleep. About 9ish gary wakes me up and says "I thought you needed to study" then kendra starts moving. I moved up to the top of the bed to just "close my eyes" for a min. before I break out the books. I figured that kendra would be waking up soon so I would just rest until she got up. Well she never woke up....that is until at 2:15 am I hear sher screaming and crying!! She had rolled off of the bottom of our bed on to the hard wood floor!! I woke up looked in her bed she wasn;t there then I figure out where her cry is coming from and swoop her up and start screaming my self. I don't think that I was yelling words because I was still half a sleep. Gary gets up too and tell me to stop screaming because I am scaring her. Anyway I look her over and she is fine. She stopped crying in like 30 seconds, but I was shaking because I was so upset about the whole thing. Then I gary says "you prob kicked ehr out of the bed I told you she was down there" I was like "WTF are you stupid why the hell would you come to be and leave her down there?? Why the fuck didn;t you put her in her bed!" he is gunna be like your the one who fell a sleep with her down there, like the shit is my fault. I told him that had her not been home I wouldn't have ever let my self fall to sleep with out putting her in her own bed. If he felt liek he needed to let me know that she was down there (which I do not remember by the way) then he knew it wasn't safe and should have never left her down there. Of course he doesn't want to believe taht it could be his fault.
I still feel so shitty about it, like I neglected my baby. I was so afraid to go back to sleep after that because I was worried that she had some injury that I couldn't see ↓

btw.. your not a bad mum either , things like this will happen all throughout her life.. we cant be perfect. we can only be as good as were able to.. and just because u messed up once dosnt mean ur a bad mum.

besides, you can always use it as an excuse for her doing something dumb later in life
i.e. kendra is 13 years old and walks out the door without her sheos or something. she gets all flustered and says outloud that she doesn't know what's wrong with her. then you answer back, 'i do..when you were a baby you rolled right off the bed and onto the floor while i was snoozing' lol ↑ |

| AWW, sorry jill, im sure she is fine, and your not a bad mom, things happen, and he should of moved her and not fallen asleep when he walked in but, like mallory said when shes older you will look back on it and make a joke about it. | i can remember isabelle was about 4 days old.. and when i got her out of the bath i dropped her back in !! she slipped outta my arms.. and started choking on water. . . she was crying and so was i... freaked the CRAP out of me.. i felt so bad =( ↑ |

:) Thanks guys. She is fine, but I still feel bad about it. I know every kid falls at some point, but you jsut expect it to be when they are learning to walk or something ya know. She didn't even end up with a bump or a red mark, but it was such a scary sight. I am sure it seemed worse since I was sleeping.
