I was told the first 6 weeks... but I stopped after my bleeding did completely. ↑ |
alright.. i feel so dumb carryin that with me when i go places lol ↑ |
what the hell is a squirt bottle? ↑ |
The bottle they give you in the hospital after vag. delivery. Supposed to fill it with warm water and squirt it on your vag. area every time you go to the washroom. Keeps things clean and feels uber relieving on the area BTW! I loved my squirt bottle! ↑ |
You need it for after c sections as well.. ↑ |
are you only supposed to use one if you have a vaginal delivery? Because they still gave me one. I dialated to 8cm before having a c-section. Well I used it anyway because it (sorry tmi) was a lot easier to squirt away the blood then to wipe it away LOL. ↑ |
You still need to use it. You still bleed post partum no matter how you deliver so there is always the chance for infection. ↑ |
Sorry, yeah, I guess you're right--I had a c-section too so you'd think I'd know!!?! I don't remember having one but I guess I did. Thanx Randi ↑ |
i used it for like 2-3 weeks. it was soo nice :) ↑ |
i had used the squirty thing for the first 3 weeks and then no more. it sucks!! even more so if you had an the incission done. ↑ |
I never got a squirt bottle---they gave me some medicated wipey thingys to use after I went to the bathroom---- ↑ |
They told me to use mine for 2 weeks. I still used it a little longer than that, because actually wiping HURT. Once I felt more comfortable wiping, I quit using the bottle. But I didn't take it out with me -- I only used it when I was at home. When I was out I would just wipe very gently... ↑ |
Oops - I used mine twice at the hospital but not again after that. I honestly had no pain down there this time. No ice packs, no squirt bottle, nothing at all. Of course she was pretty little...but with Sophie I love the bottle, and the spray stuff that numbs you and the ice packs and the tucks pads. I used it all!! For like a week or two and then I stopped. ↑ |
i was told the first week ↑ |
