I don't know if I can take this anymore. I'm waiting for the doc's office to open so that I can call and speak to someone. This morning when I went to the bathroom, there were a few drops of red blood in the toilet bowl, and when I wiped, it was pink....but now it's gone. I told you guys yesterday that it feels like there has been one thing after the other lately. I'm so scared and worried, that the tears are burning up inside of me, but I can't let them out because I'm at work. I just don't understand what's going on...I'm 12 weeks pregnant and all of a sudden there's a tiny bit of red blood? Why? What's happening? There's no cramping or pain...and there's nothing on my underwear. I feel sick from worry though. Why would a few drops of blood be coming out this morning, and then it stops completely and that's it? trying not to cry....trying not to cry...

Hun, I definitely understand your worry, considering I freaked out at eleven weeks when I began bleeding. Yes, obviously bleeding is a sign that there may be a big problem, but I've also heard time after time after time that it's very normal for women to have bleeding in their first trimester (and some throughout their entire pregnancy!) My doctor herself told me that with her last pregnancy she didn't even know she was pregnant for months because she kept getting her period on time every month. No, this does not mean that your bleeding is normal, and you will not fully feel better until you know your baby is ok, but let it give you a little bit of hope for now. Keep us updated! Good luck!

Jen- for sure call you dr, but bleeding can be common it is not by it's self a sure indication that something is wrong. Just try to rest and don't do too much lifting or walking until you see the dr. If the bleeding keeps up or gets heavy with cramping then that is when you should really really worry, but it could just be some bleeding from implantion or anything. Let us know what the dr says. Good luck

I'm so sorry hun. I'm praying for you that everything is okay and that you're worries will be calmed as soon as you hear good news from the doctor's office.

Is there anyway you can take the day off work? Just blame it on sickness or something and have a day to yourself. Go home, put some comfy clothes on, eat some junk food and watch tv/sleep all afternoon. And cry. If you can get out of work, I would definitely suggest it. I once had a professor in college that told everyone she took daily attendance because she expected everyone to skip at least once. She said everyone needed mental health days, and if you woke up feeling crabby or emotional then you should just stay in all day and relax. I think you need a mental health day to yourself. They really help.

Good luck and keep us updated. We'll be praying for you.

when I was 10 weeks pregnant on my son I had quite a bit of bleeding...... I was devistated that i was having a miscariage. I went to ER and an ultrasound determind that I had blood in my placenta, My son was just fine. Bleeding can be a serious issue and definitly should not go ignored... but bleeding when pregnant is not an uncommon thing,so don't stress out, however get it cheacked out asap unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Hope everything is okay. For me this is how I found out that I had a bladder infection. Didn't have any symptoms up until the day I went to the bathroom and saw that there was blood.
