Hey there, I started of my pregnancy a little over weight and my OB said that if I could maintain my weight and not gainany during pregnancy she would be very happy. I lost a few kilos during the first trimester, however I am now 16 + 6 and have lost 2 kilos in the last week. I am eating till I am full, I just do not seem to have the appetite that I used to have. I went to the doctor earlier this week and he said there is a stong fetal heartbeat so it should be ok. But has anyone else had a significant decline in appetite since being pregnant. Also the weight loss is not related to sickness, as I have not been sick for a few weeks.

I started off in pregnancy weighing 320 and by the time I was at 16 weeks I weighed 305. It wasnt because I was sick either, it was just the appetite thing. I think 300 was the lowest I got and I stayed there for a while. Now I am back up around 307-310 at 23 weeks. My doctor also told me that it shouldnt cause any significant problems if any at all. Just wait it out, you'll eventually even out.
