| I also have a daughter with an eating disorder. She will be 15 in 2 weeks. She has been struggling with it for almost 2 yrs. She was anorexic until a few months ago and then she started to binge. She put on a lot of weight in the last 2 months. Now she has started to purge. I'm like you ,our relationship has gone steadly downhill. It is so hard to deal with at times. She has been hospitalize when she reach her lowest weight of 83, She has been to inpatient, partical, intensive outpatient, outpatient and residentual treatment. Since she started binging she has had several sucide attempts. She is angry at me all the time. It is so hard I wish I knew the answer. I get so tired of walking on egg shells.
