I'm 14, 5'2 and weigh 115lbs. I'm not fat and don't want to lose too much weight, maybe just 3-5 lbs. I have a blubbery stomach, that I would like to get rid of, before summer! What's the fastest way to get rid of that stomach fat?

Do you run? Try running and try doiong situps w/ weights. Hold one in each hand and cross them across your chest. Lay off heavy carb food for about 2 wks. (Not full blown atkins or anything just eat more meat and veggies for 2 wks) See how you do. Running always sheds any added weight on me. Also do pushups as well because you should concentrate on tightening your stomach when you do them, it will help too. I am military and we are required to work out all the time. Those are the things I have noticed help tighten or drop the weight.

I don't run that often, but I walk (at a pretty fast pace) for like 40 minutes a day at least. I also rollerblade almost everyday and stretch daily. I was also wondering, should I eat absolutly no junk food, or what foods should I stay away from? Now I have ice cream every day and sometimes cookies in the morning....

I would avoid the junk food. Cut yourself down to a couple cookies or 1 cup of icecream. All you are doing is giving your body extra sugar and it's burning that off instead of fat. Try to take those out of your diet for about a month and see if helps. Once you lose the belly you can probably ease them back in a little. I always allow myself a little junk food so I am not hard on myself. I didn't when I did full blown atkins but that's different.

you cant just loose the stomach by doing a million crunches....you have to loose all over body fat. Running and many types of cardio do the trick. plus 2 or 3 alternate days of stomach exercises. when you do an exercise, it tears the muscle, so it needs a day to repair, which makes it better and stronger

It's going fine, I guess. I've been rollerblading everyday and doing crunches(and trying to eat healthier) thanks for the advice!

the only thing you can do is cut pop and juice out of you diet. Drink alot of water, a green tea a day, and go for a 30 min walk/run everyday..cut the amount of fat outta ur system..dont eat take out..only like 1 every 2 weeks ..and keep portions you eat smaller...good.luck
