one thing that seems to be repetitive in all of these responses is not one of you recommends tough love. I am the mom of 4 - all straight A students, no drugs, no jail, no problems. It is because I have been consistent thorughout their childhood. I beleive in strict discipline, no back talk, and if they ain't happy at my house they can go live somewhere else. ↓

Yeah, my husband got that one through. I did not like it. I thought it was cold but, he was right. It was a stand that needed to be taken with the teens. They don't really want to be any where else. ↑
