The worm weather is approaching for some of us, so its the time of year we must pay special attention to our loving pets.

Be sure to pay attention to the forecast of the day, we don't want to leave our friends out in high temperatures.

If you possible.... keep them in... out of the mid day heat. Mid day is when the heat is at its highest. If they do have to be out side try and provide a shady area, with plenty of water.

Our pets get hot too! if left out in the heat for long periods of time they can suffer from heat exhaustion and die.

So... please! keep your pet cool this summer, just as you would like to be cool.

Thanks lindalu for posting this! I guess my neighbors got the right idea as I drove real slow up our road the other day with daggers in my eyes looking at them...as their 3 boxer pups sat in the heat of the blaring sun in their run with NO SHELTER or SHADE! Who knows if they had water...I was almost tempted to stop and see. Today..the poor lil guys were inside...YAY!!! I wish some people would not be allowed pets of any kind...ARGH!!!

Lory,

Many people don't think about their pets. They put them out never paying attention to what the days temperatures are going to be. I see dogs out in the heat all the time and it fires me up. I will stop and have it out with pet owners for doing that.
