If your kids are desperate for a family pet but you just can't get one, never fear. Take your kids to the zoo and to the Humane Society where they will be able to see animals and interact with them. It will also teach them to love and care for animals properly. ↓

YES! The pets at the HS need love-bring your kids, let them love up those lonely animals! I go to the local cat rescue every now and then and play with the cats-they need attention and most times the workers are overwhelmed!
