can anyone help me? my 4 month old boxer pup has been attacked by a rotweillor and has turned from a very lively pup into a recluse who wants to sleep under the beds all the time and doesnt want to go near my other boxer who is 4, i never used to be able to separate them because they were so close and were constantly play fighting but this has all changed for the worse, can anyone advise me, thank you

It sound as though he has been traumatized by the attack. He will need to be shown that it isn't a scary thing to be around other dogs. Try luring him with treats. Start by taking him out to a dog park or a pet store where there are other dogs, when ever he shows interest in another dog praise him and give him a treat. Don't force him to meet another dog...you want him to be comfortable not afraid. You can apply the same techniques for him at home so he will become more comfortable with your other dog. When he shows interest in the other dog verbally praise him and give him a treat! Keep in mind if allowed to hide out and not interact with other dogs he will continue to be afraid. In order to over come he will need to be around other dogs.

There are so many posts in this forum that have to do with house training a dog. If you read through some you will find several techniques.
