| Is it possible for my female Blue nose to go into heat at 4 months? Shes potty trained but has been peeing a lot lately, not large amounts just little drips. Someone told me that its a sign that she may be going into heat early. I feel like its a little too young and I just want to be sure its a normal thing or if I should take her to the vet again ↑ |

| Hi my 9 month old puppy went into heat for the first time and I'm wondering how long it will last and if she is having any pain like how we women do? I set her kennel back up in the house so she doesnt have to stay out in the cold and lay out towels for her lay on when she is cuddling with us. And we dont have a male dog or are even planning on breeding her but am also wondering when would be a good time in her development to get her fixed? ↑ |

around seven months.. although they may not have a full blown heat as far as breeding goes but they other males can sense the hormones in heat...but as for full blown heat they usually start 9 to 10 months...u should not breed the first time in heat for she and the puppie could die and she does not have the hormones to know wut to do with a litter of puppies...so if u want to have a happy healthy litter of pupps the second time she comes in heat would be aa good time...i raise and breed pittbulls for a living...
