Chanteau, your uterus is not behind your belly button this early so it's something else you are feeling.
About the negative hpt, I am 5 weeks too and have had neg hpt's. I am nursing and the dr told me the prolactin (bfing hormone) is cancelling out the hcg in the urine. Lots of women do not test pos on an hpt. So if you believe you are pregnant just wait a few months and your belly will prove it. ↑ |

| I'm 26 my last normal period was on Feb 28th. My fiance and I had unprotected sex 3 times during the week I ovulated March 11th thru March 15th. On March 26th I bled lightly and continued bleeding until the 27th. On the 28th I barely bled (I spotted), and on the 29th I didn't bleed. Normaly my periods last 5 strong days...... I have all the symptoms of pregnancy but, the home pregnacny test came out negative. Does anyone think I could be pregnant but my hcg level is not strong enough to be detected yet? ↑ |

to "scared as hell" im sorry girl, you have all of the symptoms of pregnancy. you should go to the doctor. maybe you will be lucky.
for my case-last night i half way had sex with my boyfriend. he didnt put it all the way in but im scared if he precame then it got in me. i do take the pill, but he wasnt wearing a condom. im talking like this went on for about one minute or less. im really sore and everything but im not sure if it is because of lack of sleep or what. i dont knwow, i dont want to tell my parents because i am like "the golden child" and i dont want to know if i am pregnant or not. i guess ill go get a test. its the best way to go. ↑ |

| Sometimes the result will come out negative if it is an old test, are you may have needed for your hcg to build up for results,I strongly recommend you visit a doctor. But,having breast discomfort is a known symptom,I advise you to get blood tested ,it may be to early for you to find out with a home test. ↑ |

im a 19 yr old and 5 weeks late, all tests have shown up negative but i have all symptoms... i have to wait a week for the result of a blood test and its driving me insane.
