Hey before i found out i was pregnant i used to take ecstacy. I stopped as soon as i found out i was pregnant but i know ive taken a few pills before i found out. Will it have harmed my baby or will it not matter with it just been a few? Im really worried about it so any help would be good xxx ↓

It could harm you baby yes...but if you stopped thats all you can do....you have a good chance since you did stopp so early though...just discuss it with your doctor...and trust me that she has heard it all...she won't judge...I drank, smoked, and toked till i found out... ↑

Yea, im sure your baby's OK. I partied hard til i was about 2 months, since i didnt know i was pregnant. They say there's less harm to the baby during the first 3 months of pregnancy... ↑

First off how far along where you when you found out?
How long where you taking ecstacy for while you where pregnant
how far are you along now

Yeah i have definatly given up its hard cos its constantly on my mind but my babys more important.
I was about 6 weeks when i found out. Im about 8 weeks now. The last time i took any was a week before i found out so for 5 weeks but only a few times.
I really dont wanna have to tell my doctor if theres no real need but i dunno how much it will have effected it. ↑

im not trying to scare you but think bout it, one ectasy pill can kill a adult so think off the effect it can have on a unborn baby ↑

Lolly - Most of the damage is done in the first 3 months of your pregnancy when the featuos has no immune system and is still building it self up.

You DO need to tell your doctor, it is confidental and if you want to start being a good mother thats one of the things you have to start with.
If you only took it once, i think you MAY be ok. You have a ultrasound usually around 12 weeks to check to see if the baby is good and healthy in the right spot and doesnt have any abnormalties...possibly if you talk to your doctor you can have that scan earlier.
