Hi I'm Vivien, 21 years old, 18 weeks pregnant. I had left my ex boyfriend for another man because I thought we were in love although we barely knew each other...and of course we fell apart when I found I was pregnant. We stopped talking altogether and now he is with someone else. I'm going through all this alone and he claims to be moving overseas in a few months...of course I believe he is only making this up to get out of the responsiblity of helping out with child support. Also he denies it is his child because there is a slight chance it could be my ex's although I doubt it because my ex was on steroids for the past 12 years (which most likely meant he was sterile) and never got me pregnant the entire time we were together.

Well, I moved back home after I ended the relationship and am staying with my brother. The problem is, I was a stripper before and of course I can no longer dance because I'm already showing, and have quit as soon as I found out I was pregnant due to the secondhand smoke and the type of environment. I want to get a legit job but it's so hard because no one wants to hire a pregnant girl. But I really need the money because I have to get my own place and of course, baby furniture and gear in about another 4-5 months, and I am running low on the money I had saved from dancing. Not to mention pay medical bills and other expenses. I'm not just some uneducated stripper who's never had a real job, although I can't bartend right now either. Any suggestions? I am also still in college studying psychology...

get help from the state, you know for medical, food and , shelter. and most importent!!! GET YOUR BUTT IN SCHOOL!!!! If You use help wisly and the way it was attended it is ok, and bettering your self is the best way for that to happen. Now this means that you might have to lower your life style a few levels, bur it will be woth it in the long run plus you owe it to that baby. Do not depend on either of the guys for help regaurdless of what they say. if they want to help then let them but remeber that at any time it could be just you and the baby so relie on that. good luck hun!

You say you are just some uneducated stripper who's never had a real job. Do not underestimate yourself. You have been working in the oldest profession there is and one where some women make tons of money. It is hard to carry on with your profession being pregnant. If you had no moral conflicts with your past profession, I suggest you continue to work in the same field and take a different approach. Some women make lots of money working in the phone sex industry. It does not matter if you are pregnant with this approach. I think it is completely legal but really I wouldn't know. I do not mean this disrespectfully. It is every woman's choice to decide what to do with her life. As long as no one is forcing you to make these kind of decisions and you are of legal age I see nothing wrong with it.

i have a friend who was going through the same thing. im 18 yrs old, so not right at your age but close. the friend i have was dancing until she was 3 months pregnant. she ended up quitting and going to school to be a cosmetologist. i am currently pregnant and there are places that will pay up to 2 years for a pregnant mother to go to school. i would really try that if you think thats something you like. also if you go to an interview dont let them know your pregnant. i dont tell them. i just wear a bigger size sweater, they dont need to know that until you feel they need to know. you can find something. i know its hard to not go back tpo that kind of lifestyle becasue of the quick cash you can make. but on the other hand, you have a lot of potential to be something in life have you tried modeling that could be something to. you can show off your body in different ways that can lead to a career. think about it :) hope this help a little! *sarah*
