I have an amazing baby boy and would do ANYTHING for him and make sure that he is happy. His father and i aren't together because of his grand parents (fathers parents). The day my son was born they took over, decided that money and buying everything meant more (money doesn't buy love), they never listened to anything i said when it came to my son and told me what a terrible mom i am. I spent most of the first two months with them and did as they said, hoping it would change because they are his grand parents. Eventually i lost it when drinking started becoming an every day thing in my son's life with them, they screamed and fought in front of him all the time, saying he is a baby and it wont affect him.. They told me how stupid i was and that i'm basically not good enough to be a mother. I told them they wont see me or my son again untill they start respecting me and my decisions as a mom. It's been 5 months and they haven't made any effort to see me or my son or to make it right. I know we both better off without them but why does it bother me so much that they don't care? And did i do the right thing? ↓
