Well i have my final RH - shot tommorow! at 34 weeks....I had my first one at 28 weeks and it stung like a bitch!!
So im hoping this time around the midwife will be a little bit more friendly.

I actually dont really look forward to my anti natal check ups at the hospital, they push down so hard on my stomach to feel the baby and the heartbeat..its really distressing and hurts quite a lot.

Dont these dam woman remember what its like to be pregnant!
I cant believe i only have a few weeks to go..i dont understand where these 9 months have gone ! ↓

Its a shot you have to take if you have a negetive blood type. All mums with the negetive blood group have this RH D ( Anti - D ) shot in the leg. At 28 weeks, 34 weeks and finally again after birth.

Basically before this needle was given..mums with the negetive blood type would interfer with the baby.
The first child would be ok, but after that you where more likely to have miscarriages.
Your body build up immunity to the baby because of its opposite blood type and tries and flushes the feotus. Lovely eh?

Im sure there is a more technical term and i could look it up and tell you but its too much effort and im still really pissed my phone went through the wash :(( ↑

I get one next week....yay for me....they will give you another one in the hospital after the baby is born...at least for me they did..but i was on alot of painkillers so i don't remember too much... ↑
