To all single mothers,
I am 28 years old and I for the past 3 years considering adoption. I am decided, as I am very lucky to have my parents and friends support. Moreover they are excited.
But I don't know from where to start. What should l do first? who should l contact?
On the other hand, I am a European wanting and wishing to adopt a Chinese girl, preferrably under 3 years old or an infant.
Any advice at this point is extremely appreciated and valued.
Thank you, Liv

Hi there, I am 31 a mother of 2 boys. And having a child is the ultimate gift! They really fill up a void you didn't even know existed in your life.
There are hard days, extremely hard days about doing it alone and there will be many tears shed! However there are magical moments to each day! Your love seriously grows daily for your children!
You get to relive your life through their eyes. Their wonder and excitement will renew a sense of new birth in you!
I hope this helps you! I love my sons so very much and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I am 19. I am 15 weeks right now.. and yes I may be young, but I am starting to realize how it is going to be when I am a single mom. It is going to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but it is a great feeling to be able to support your child alone and if you have family that are there for you like mine is, you will be fine.. Every child is a blessing.. I say if your heart is telling you to.. go for it, but only if you are financially ready!

I am 28 years old and have wanted a child for many years. I decided to have a child on my own was with a guy for about six months and finally got pregnant. Now I'm 5 months along I have a college degree and a full time job. I feel I made the right decision for me and yes there is a lot of judgement and its hard. Financially yes it will be difficult but i was told one day at a time. I was told to wait becauseI'm still young but I made my decision u have to go by what feels right to u I was told I'm being shellfish and unfair to a child but I have two good supportive friends just try to go day by day yes things will come up and it will be challenging but I have no regrets I support anyone who is thinking about being a single mom because i made the choice.
