| i cnt believe the stories on here i hope they are lies!!! i dnt believe in spanking at all but i do respect other peoples views and i know that a lot of people believe it causes no harm to a child which is their right to decide but i do think that there is no need no matter what age your child is to take own their pants that is sick and disrespectful of their private needs i believe its a disgrace to do that i dnt even look at my own sons knee if he has had a fall without asking his permission first, children have a right over their own bodies as do adults. ↑ |

| I agree with A Mom if they did something that deserved a spanking (like a little kid) then they can sit in time out (like a little kid) When my 16 year old son Chris gets a spanking he goes over mine or his daddys knee then he sits in the corner for at least a half hour then he has to go to bed after dinner so normally about 7- 7:30. Child buttock-battering for the purpose of gaining compliance is nothing more than an inherited bad habit.
Its a good idea for people to take a look at what they are doing, and learn how to DISCIPLINE instead of hit.
I think the reason why television shows like "Supernanny" and "Dr. Phil" are so popular is because that is precisely what many (not all) people are trying to do.
