I am currently a single parent to two children, of which I have custody of One child and my ex has custody of my son. My ex's parent pickup my daughter and take her down to spend the summer with her mother. Her mother does not work, does not have a car and primarily uses public transit. The problem I have is, She lives approximate twelves hours from where I am living, which, is in Minnesota and she is locate in Des Moines, Iowa. I have been trying to tell her since she moved out of Minnesota, both children's home state, that she should meet me halfway as she was the one that moved not me and will not meet me halfway. She expects me to do all the traveling and her, nothing, Is this fair to me or am I just being an arse for trying to get her to be responsible seeing that she moved and I did not. I constantly tell her that her not having a car is not my problem and why should I rack up all the miles on my vehicle while she does nothing. Thanks for any help.
