?? plz I need answers, I have had my 11 month old sick for over a week now with sniffles, restlessness, then off his food from friday,
then saturday lethargic and totally off his food, fluids and sleeping non stop, wouldnt crawl, walk or anything,plus had high fevers,
took him to hospital and they said just give him demazin and neurophene every 6 hours,
come sunday he had gotten worse, he was just not the happy lil guy he was, he was like in a trance (but I thought it must of been cause of the demazin) and he would be like that when he was awake and when he would sleep hed be sleeping for hours and hours,
so I stopped him from taking anything too see, but he was the same before he took demazing and after, so I just felt something wrong,
I took him back to the hospital who then told me he had influenza but not the serious one,
He started eating a little bit today, not much but a few spoons here and there which is an improvement,
last night I noticed a rash on his neck but then again it was really hot and hubby said I had nothing to worry about,
But today he has this rash all over his body, hes not on any medication for 2 days now and has had 2 naps for 10 hours in the day, which he used to have 2/3 in a day,
I'm scared, I have bad feelings about this,
anyway I rang my Dr who said to take him to hospital, but my other boys are sleeping,
my neighbour is asleep as her porch lights are switched off,
my husbands mobile is switched off, my parents arent answering the home phone,
my sister is overseas :-(......
so I just need some answers now plz, some advice,
has anyone babies had rash and symptoms like this due to teething,
cause I rang up my Inlaws and shes insisting its due to teeth and not to panick, and if hes still like that in morning to take him then to the hospital,,
and Dr also said if he had fever with the Rash then I should be worried, but he hasnt got fever,,,
OmG Im so stressed, I'm waiting for my husband to come home which he will be here in 1&1/2 hours so I'm trying to keep him awake until then but hes already showing signs of sleepiness,
so anyone on please help me, ,,,,

irene ....honestly :-) if it is stressing you this much then i would wake the kids up (wrap them up) and take them with you to emergency. ...yes its a bitch...but it makes you feel better getting the professional opinion!
otherwise...if he is breathing well, give him a nudge and gauge his reaction, (very lethargic and floppy) or p'ed off...the later being the norm :-)
you could try cooling him down with cool water and flannel over the rash to see if it is a heat rash???? is it a pimply rash or like a hive rash? (like really big mozzie bites) ↑ |

tiny little spotty rash, Not a heat rash, very different, today wasnt that hot, plus hes been indoors all day and its so cool in the house,,,
he had problems breathing on saturday but Hospital just said it was from dehydration,,
Hes fallen asleep now, but steve gets home in 1 hour, Illl get him out of bed like you said and take him to hospital I think while steve stays here with the boys,,
life sux hun,,,
p.s we seen financial adviser today, got xlnt info about if the lenders do take us to court it would be in our favour as the letter they sent us was dated back in march????? and they sent it out 5 months later after missing that one payment???
also apra wont help us again... so advisor today told us about the salary sacrafise which steve is asking about tomorrow,,,

| awwwwh irene.......what a nightmare. The not knowing what your really dealing with that is........i so feel for ya love. Just keep on THEM about it......about all you can do for the moment. I just hate.....when there is no concrete reasoning by hospitals and doctors for why something is happening......just hate it! I do understand.....that sometimes there just isnt....yet.....but man its a friggin difficult road to follow when your in the dark. Keep us posted hon. Hope our little bubs is well soon. ↑ |

your welcome :-)........just want to add ...be careful about those letters...they may backdate them (it is standard practise) and i have seen that go in the favor of the bank!!!....dont hold onto that info like gospel because it may not come out as you were told.
i am all for being positive...but at the same time i try to find alternatives rather than rely on the outcome of one piece of advice....what i have found is that BIG business didnt become big by being legit / legal / or morally right.
walk warily irene and you will be in a better position.

There is a virus that causes the symptoms you said he had that ends with a rash. I have never heard of a rash with teething other than when drool runs down their chins onto their neck & chest causing an irritation. That wouldn't be all over. Anyways, hope he is okay!! ↑ |
