I gaind and am bigger (showing) more sooner than with my son too? I wanted to know what is good or bad I was not told when I was peregnant w/ my son! My cousin is pregnant and she was told she didn't gain enough and I started to worrie about mine!

As long as you keep your weight gain to no more than 30 lbs. you should be ok.

I am almost 33 weeks along and have gained 20 lbs.. I eat SO MUCH it is insane. I really think I need to slow down, but at the same time I am always hungry! I agree though.....as long as I gain less than 30 lbs....i feel comfortable with it. that is a resonable weight gain.

The best option would be to ask your doctor for a schedule of weight gain. It is different for everyone. A woman that is overweight should gain a different amount of weight than one that is underweight. The doctor can also give you a break down of where that weight is going. Some of that weight is for enlarging breasts. Some of that is amniotic fluid.

30lbs.? I gained 50lbs. I ate a lot and I lost 20 right when I had my son. Hanging on to 30lbs. I do recommend watchin what you eat. Wish I did.
