Have him send out flyers throughout the neighborhood offering to mow their lawn or do other small jobs for a fee. I know we like to use the neighborhood kids for our little jobs, we know their parents and we know the kids so we're comfortable having them around. The money your son makes over the summer can be used for school clothes or he can start a college fund. If he doesn't want to do that, check with your work or your husband's and see if they will take on an intern for the summer to work the mail room or something else he may be capable of doing. ↑ |
My sons 12 and generally a couple of times a week he has a mate over and they play basketball in the backyard, abit of ps2, watches a dvd, he also reads alot, and on the weekend my husband takes him motorbike riding, if you live near the beach thats another outlet. With him being 14 though, he should be able to tell you what he wants to do and what he enjoys. ↑ |
